Small Business Day at the Metro Atlanta Chamber - Atlanta Business Chronicle:

As I navigated the crowds, I got to see many interestinvg Atlantasmall businesses. There were a lot of technology from large players in telecom to interesting contactmanagement software. There was even a live demonstrationn of an Internet solutiomn fordata storage. There were other importany services for small business owneraon display, including: mediation, banking and insurance. In I saw some compelling examples of work by branding and marketing learned about some productss or facilities I could use with my familyubusiness clients, and even had the chance to learnb about ways I could help my clients give back to the communitg with the United Way!
In addition to the small businessz showcase, the morning's activities included a valuabld panel to help small business ownerse learn how to effectivelg sell to larger businesses. A panel of procuremengt leaders from someof Atlanta's premieres businesses were on hand to discussa their company's philosophy on buying from smaller, or from minority-owned There was a lively question and answer session whers the panel generously provided tips and insightt to help audience members compet for their budget dollars.
A numbe r of panelists even offered to make direct introductionss so I think the participants really got a lot out of this I certainly enjoyed my visit and hope other attendeee felt they learned and made some useful professionalconnections today.
