Norton Healthcare signs UnitedHealthcare agreement; still no Anthem deal - Business First of Louisville:

According to a news release from the nonprofig hospital and healthcare organization, Nortonn has reached a new provider agreemenyt with , a division of Minneapolis-based It is effectivre July 1. The multi-year agreement provides UnitedHealthcare commerciakl and MedSelect health planparticipants in-network benefitds to Norton Healthcare’s network of hospitals and healtnh care facilities. The company owns Norton Hospitalo and indowntown Louisville, as well as Nortonb Suburban and Norton Audubon hospitals.

A team from the Emerging Leaders Program started working on the reportrlast summer, interviewing 20 Massachusettes companies about their corporate social responsibility activitiesz -- predominantly large companes and representing a cross-sectiohn of industries. “Historically CEOs would engage in philanthropy becaused it was the right thingto do.
