The Southerh Conference will featureeight teams: the Amarillo Arizona Sundogs, Corpus Christi Laredo Bucks, Odessa Jackalopes, Rio Grande Valleyh Killer Bees, Texas Brahmas, and the expansion Allen The league’s playoff format remains as it has sinced the 2007-08 season.
The five teams from each conferenc e with the highest point totals qualify for the The Thunder opensthe 2009-10 season on October 16 on the road and will play theirr final home opener at the Kansas Coliseum the followiny night. In mid-January, the Thunder will move to the new IntrustgBank Arena.
