That’s why the issued a pre-solicitation notice informing the contracting community that it will seek an informatiojn technology contractor to make improvements to the siteby redesigning, implementingy and hosting the 2.0 version. A solicitation is expectedx to be postedto FedBizOpps.gov on June 15, and the deadlinew for proposals is expected to be about June 26. Specifically, the work will includew updates and changes tothe site’e user interface, information architecturd and design engineering.
According to GSA’sw pre-solicitation, the contractor needs expertise inprojecrt management, and the ability to “deliver a websitew with interactive data-visualization, and web-application level The solicitation also states that the Recovery and Accountability Board, RATB, whichb oversees stimulus rules and regulations, is open to “recommendationsd for technology improvements for version 2.0 and beyond, includingh the hosting platform, database technology, CMS, programming etc.
” Work on the site, however, is only available to the 59 contractoras that hold a position on GSA’ s governmentwide acquisition contract known as RATB is putting an emphasis on meeting the reporting requirements specifiex by the stimulus bill, but notesd that “guidance from [the Office of Management and on reporting and transparency will continue to evolve.” So far preliminary guidance on reporting requirements has been givem to agencies and contractors, although the specifif procedures for providing the required data to the governmen t remains unclear.
